Fantastic upgrade from a non-workable closet to a lovely useable area where you can see everything, love it!💕
I have a small, bathroom-sized walk-in closet that I paid to have custom built out about 17 years ago, and it was worth every penny (it was $2K, but solid wood and all custom) . I can see everything and it’s easily my favourite room in our house.
I love the intentional way you made every decision. NGL, when I first watched you in this space on YouTube I was kind of like -- she's so fancy, she's so together, she's so perfect. And now here you are, showing us how accessible this space is, and we are friends, and I know you are a human person like me. This is a wonderful space for discovery + so generous of you to share!
Impressive and cost effective set up, I love it! I have a big wardrobe (which I is technically walk in - but it’s an awfully awkward space to access). I’ve taken to using it for off season clothes and have a clothes rack and open shelves in the spare room I use as a dressing room which is much more user friendly.
I'm loving and saving this for future inspiration - thank you so much for sharing!
Potentially silly questions - do you find your items get dustier from a more "open" system (vs traditional wardrobes with doors)? That was the push back I kept hearing when I tested this idea...
Thanks Xue! Not a silly question at all as it was also something I wondered but in all honestly I’ve found this to be better than when it had doors because the curtains when closed do the same job the doors did, I also find it’s actually easier to clean/dust without the doors on if I do notice any as there’s now no obstruction, so I can easily get into the corners without the doors only opening to reveal half the closet. X
That's so great to hear! I think the curtains (vs leaving it truly open) was a really smart move - keeps the dust out, prevents visual clutter, and "softens" the room. So glad it's working for you!
Such a good upgrade!
Thank you!x
You did brilliantly. Very calming somehow. For a woman about to make rational decisions.
Thanks Hannah x

Thanks Rachel! Ha I’m far from perfect! Very human ;) Xx
I love that you can basically see every single item of clothing / accessories you own! It makes so much sense!
Thanks Anika x
It looks like a shop ❤️
Thanks Anna! Hope you had fun in NY x
