"Therein lies the problem, I see no issue in wanting the bag, in the desire to own it, but the nowness of it all is what made everything feel heavy. The if I don’t have it now I might die! (i’m being dramatic, but hello have you met my brain?) That need to own it before it sells out, the need to own it right now this minute, the instant gratification, that’s what my no buy is helping me unlearn."
So well said, it's not about removing want from our lives, but about not letting it consume us!
I needed a new work bag that I can take straight from travel to boardroom and could fit the gigantic new laptop work gave me. This seriously fit the bill and I was so surprised. I went in store as a gut check and the experience was just incredibly relatable and friendly. Immediately bought tapestry stock the next day. Also, crazy that people bought multiple in different colorways ($700 is not cheap! I said to myself that this is the last work bag I’ll buy until it falls apart which I highly doubt will happen)
I think you effectively made your case for it, but I agree about needing to see it in real life. Don't succumb and buy it while you are in the UK...I think Coach (being an American brand) is more expensive there (unless a VAT refund makes it equal).
Can I also just add the Metier Private Eye bag to the wish list? Not cheap by any stretch (the Row level prices unless you get lucky and find one pre-loved), but also one I have been obsessed with. They have an amazing flagship store in London if you are able to stop by while you are in the UK:
"I was able to remind myself…this is so exciting, you are going to own that bag one day, or maybe a better bag, but you’ll be ok if you don’t buy it now." And "letting myself enjoy the longing." YES. Thank you.

The Metier bags are stunning!
Such a great idea to add trying on IRL to your wishlist - it definitely takes down the urgency!
It’s been so helpful x
Get the bag! Avoid regrets. I’d love the coach bag in a smaller size.
