Harriet, you have some amazing pieces. May I ask how many items are actually in your closet? Incl. bags, shoes and belts. I wonder if there is a threshold every one of us. A number of items that are necessary to feel inspired and be able to unfold creatively. Best from Copenhagen where I'm trying to shop my own closet more and more. :)
That’s a great question, I need to double check properly when I do my next wardrobe play date as I’ve sold quite a few bits recently and haven’t yet updated my Indyx to reflect that. I think because I include every single piece of jewelry, vests and accessories in totally I’m definitely over 200 pieces. But I honestly don’t think there is a one size fits all (pardon the pun) number of pieces that guarantees a great wearable wardrobe. I think it has more to do with how you approach inspiration vs the number you have leading to feeling inspired if that makes sense x
Agree! I feel much more productive working in a coffee shop than by myself at home. And your sleeveless blazer look is so good. Totally onboard with relaxed tailoring.
I love the idea of "wearing the hell out of (your) clothes." I recently exited my 40-year profession to do some semi-retired teaching at the university level. But I still have a closet full of bespoke suits. Instead of succumbing to the environment of trainers and hoodies I am going to indeed wear the hell out of my Huntsman.

I love that! And the idea of having a wardrobe of bespoke suits…that sounds like the dream.
