I was looking at a content creator recently who swore by slightly flared leggings and I admit that it was WORKING. Initially I was colored by the 2000s of it but, honestly, styling leggings can be a lot like styling any black pants. Of course, I want to cover my booty, but still!
These pics look great! I’ve come to the conclusion over the past year that for me, nothing is off the table style wise. And I’m super low budget but I’ve been hyper aware of fashion since age 3 probably so that’s 56 years seeing things come and go. And leggings should remain on the menu so to speak lol!
Thanks for this post Harry! I love leggings in the same way you do! I love being able to use them for their original function, but also being able to pair them with my everyday wardrobe to extend their longevity in my closet. My personal favorite combo is an oversized sweater with leggings and boots (of the casual or dressy variety) - works every time! I’m going to try blazers next though now that I’ve seen your inspo! Thanks again 🙌🏼
I've been thinking about finding a pair of preloved stirrup leggings after I saw an amazing image of someone wearing them at CPHFW. Your outfit with the Jil Sander white sandals is making me look harder. 10/10 styling as always!
I used to wear leggings a lot but now I mostly reserve them for working out or as a base layer underneath other pants when it's brutally cold outside. But your styling of them with an oversized sweater and blazer has got me thinking🤔
I only have 1 pair (they're from Lululemon so not sure if they're premium but not cheap either) and I bought them in 2015 - they have held up really well through a lot of wear and are only starting to show signs of wear.
I’ve really come around to this look, especially for travel. I do feel like the premium leggings are worth it - I have a pair from the Row that has lasted years and still looks amazing. I prefer this silhouette to the kick-flare look; it just works better for me.
The last look is so cute and I love the thoughtful detailing with the woven basket! Great points were made that we can be comfy but still put in some effort a little bit!
I wear legging ALL THE TIME, but I don't ever really wear them as part of an "outfit". They are , however, the first thing I'll throw on to take my dog outside or sit and study. I can admit that sometimes I get weirded out by the shape of my own legs in leggings, as if they should be kind of straight and skinny and model-esque. Blaming it on growing up in the 00's and trying to rewire my brain because obviously there's no such thing as a weird shape of a leg.

Yes for the most part I like my booty covered too x

Thanks Michele! Couldn’t agree more x
The all black look with the dainty white strappy sandals made me jump out of my chair
Thanks so much Laura x
