Loved this Harriet, do you have any tips on how to wear blazers at 5”1 and curvy? I always feel like a bit of a barrel…..

Hi Emily apologies for the very late reply! Is there a particular cut of blazer you generally prefer? Eg single breasted, double breasted, fitted or oversized? My belief is that anyone can wear anything, and there aren’t any rules, but here’s a few things I would try…

First up go to a store and try on a mix of styles (not to buy) just to get a feel for what feels good to you.

Second I would experiment with proportions. Sometimes I like having a more fitted trouser if I’m wearing an oversized jacket, and vice a versa. Hope that helps x

I'm a total blazer person, too, so I feel you! I'm counting down the days until fall. Love the yellowy-cream blazer on you and the black accents with the vintage YSL is so good!

I live outside the Boston area so you would think it would be cool enough to wear a blazer but alas it’s been stupid hot here this summer. Even a light jacket or sweater has been too much. I’m looking forward to wearing my giant sweaters come Fall with some of the summer pieces I’ve bought (I wear linen all year round).

The first blazer I ever had was one “liberated” from my dad’s closet in 1984. It was olive green corduroy, from the 70s, and looked very much like the ones you’re styling so well here, Harriet. Hmmm…so inspiring, makes me want to steal one of my husband’s!

I love these! I love a blazer too and am always searching for light unlined ones slash ones that stay on the shoulder- “just for the AC” and even like a paper thin summer duster …. You made beautiful looks! 💜

Thanks Rachel! Same I’m always on the lookout for LA friendly blazers that are light enough for the heat x

I loved this set of ideas and shared it with my “Tibi support group” text thread because we’re always craving our blazers too 💛

You look so fab! I'm definitely not a blazer girl but I feel the same about knits and jackets... Can't wait to get to pull them out for those early morning fall commutes
